Audine Morrow Graybill June 7, 1944 - September 5, 2021

Audine Morrow Graybill was born June 7, 1944 in Hammon, OK to Warren and Betty Joe (Trent) Morrow.  She was baptized in 1955 at the Hammon Church of Christ.  She passed away September 5, 2021 in Oklahoma City at the age of 77 surrounded by family.  She attended Hammon School before she married Allen D. Graybill on August 19, 1966 (55-years married).  

 

Audine completed coursework at Central State University and Oklahoma State University starting in 1966.  After college, Audine started a family with Allen and gave birth to three children: Auda Jeannene, Dwight Allen, and Alden LeWarren. She led a Redbird Troop until she became a homemaker and oversaw the building of a new home in Perry, OK in 1970. Audine started a new adventure when the family moved to Oklahoma City where she worked professionally serving in a variety of positions.  She loved working with people, especially kids, and these positions ranged from banker, newspaper representative, substitute teacher, and child caregiver.  Her first job was helping her mom pick cotton in western Oklahoma fields.  Audine was civically involved throughout her life and was a long-time member of the Order of the Odd Fellows.

 

Audine loved life and lived it to the fullest.  She was a strong Christ follower and loved everyone unconditionally.  She attended church regularly and was a member of the Hammon Church of Christ and Putnam City Church of Christ.  

 

She was preceded in death by her parents Warren and Betty Joe, sister Birdie Lee Morrow, son Dwight Graybill and niece Chandra Morrow.  Survivors include her husband Allen D. Graybill of El Reno, children Auda Jeannene (Graybill) Trotter of El Reno, OK and Alden LeWarren Graybill and his wife Corrie of Edmond, OK. Her brother and his wife Warren Morrow Jr. and Mary Kate and their child Alisha.  Four grandchildren, Karla, Thomas, Wesley, and Amelia, and one great-grandson Dwight.

 

Visitation will be available Wednesday, September 8 at Buchanan Funeral Service OKC from 1-8 pm with family present from 5-7 pm.  Services will be held at the same location Thursday, September 9, at 2 pm and a graveside at Fairlawn Cemetery Elk City at 11 am on Friday, September 10, 2021.
