Visitation for Barbara will take place from 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, at Buchanan Funeral Service, 8712 N Council Rd. Oklahoma City, OK 73132. Her funeral service will take place at 10:00 AM on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at Buchanan Funeral Service.

Barbara Ann Lacy, of Mustang, Oklahoma, born on January 9, 1943 in Tribbey, Oklahoma, passed away at the age of 81 on Christmas Day, December 25, 2024. Barbara, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, spent her career as a bookkeeper in the banking industry, but her true passion lay in the quiet joys of life: painting, quilting, taking walks, watching birds, and baking. She was known for her love of farm life and her collections of roosters and angels. She was once recognized by a local newspaper for her resemblance to Jackie Kennedy, but what mattered most to her was her family. Barbara was the proud grandmother of 27 great-grandchildren.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Jim Lacy; her daughters, Laneigha (Joe) Shuman and Lisa (Danny) Hogue; her son, Noel (Angie) White; sisters Marilyn Wilson and Veda Anderson, and grandchildren Lee, Tiffany, Jordan, Noah, Xavier, Chandler, Bethany, Athens, Savannah, Brent, Wesley, Halen, Jerisa, Dustin, Chayton, Harley, and LeeAnna. She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Pearl Wright; former husbands Norval White and Jack Day, son Timothy White, and siblings Thomas, Warren, Jimmy, Ralph, Marie, and Verma.

Visitation for Barbara will be held on Wednesday, January 1, 2025 from 2:00pm – 6:00pm at Buchanan Funeral Service, 8712 North Council Road, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The funeral service will take place the following day, Thursday, January 2, 2025 at 10:00am at the same location.
