Betty Jane Thurman March 23, 1927 - June 29, 2015

Betty, age 88, was born in Henderson, TN to Gladys (Futrell) and Calyer Record. She attended Freed – Hardeman College and graduated from Abilene Christian University. Betty is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Bill. She is survived by her husband Harold; daughter, Shannon Crosley and husband Larry; sons, Reginald Thurman and wife Janelle, Paul Thurman and wife Mary Dee, Barry Thurman and wife Pamela; grandchildren, Derek, Bret, Marla, Gina , Kevin , Julie, Crystal, Kyle, David, Chelsea; 21 great-grandchildren; brothers, Buddy Record and Tom Record; and many other family members and friends. Visitation will be 10am to 8pm Wednesday, July 1, 2015 with family receiving guest form 6-8 pm. Services to celebrate her life will be 2 pm, Thursday, July 2, 2015 at Buchanan Funeral Service Chapel with burial to follow at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery
