Connie Lou Hart of Oklahoma City passed away peacefully in the presence of family on Sunday, February 14, 2021. Connie was born in Lenox, Iowa on March 20, 1937. She was the daughter of the late Drexel and Marjorie (Beadle) Hunt. Connie spent most of her childhood in the care of her beloved paternal grandmother, Blanche Crouch. She moved to Oklahoma City and married the love of her life, Norris Hart on March 1, 1956. She is preceded in death by her sister, Jean Archino, her brother, Jerry Hunt and her son, Mark Hart. Connie demonstrated love and living life its fullest. She never said no to any invitation to spend time with her family she spoke so proudly about to anyone who would listen. She was the ultimate giver, and she brightened everyone’s day with her big smile, her kind heart and her positive attitude. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Norris Hart; her daughter Shelly and husband Gary Arnold of Oklahoma City; four grandchildren (to whom she was known as Grandma Hi-Dee), Erin Kern and husband Russell of Tulsa, Caitlin Willis and husband Brendon of Oklahoma City, Jesse Arnold and wife Kristen of Edmond, Chase Arnold and wife Anna of Denver, CO; and ten great grandchildren, Emery Kern, Delia Kern, Nora Kern, Hattie Kern, Charly Willis, Stella Willis, Noah Willis, Caleb Willis, Tate Arnold and Crew Arnold. A memorial service will be held in the spring of 2021 when peonies, her favorite flower, are in bloom.
