Corliss Jan Dixon, of Moore, Oklahoma, passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2021, surrounded by loved ones. She was 67.
She was the wife of Clint Cornett. Married on October 18, 2014, Clint was her loving supporter and best friend.
She also leaves behind her four children, and their families:
Jason Malone, his wife Lindsay, and their sons Wyatt and Benjamin
Jeremy Bateman, and his daughter Erynn
Robert Bateman, his wife Lindsey, and their children Madyson and Kade
Amanda Rojas, her husband Andy, and their children Ezra and Lucy
She was born on August 5, 1954 in Duncan, Oklahoma to the late Hugh and Eudora Dixon. She is survived by her brother, Richard Dixon, and his family. A lifelong resident of Oklahoma, Corliss enjoyed being around her family more than anything else. Her children and grandchildren were the center of everything for her. She was a natural caretaker, and always did her best to provide a wonderful home for her family.
Corliss did clerical work in the medical field for many years, and was a paraprofessional at Highland East Junior High in Moore, working with special needs children. She is most known for being a kind, caring person with a great laugh and genuine love of people. She will be very dearly missed by everyone who knew her.
Her funeral will be held at Buchanan Funeral Service on Saturday, October 30th at 10:00am, followed by a graveside service at Duncan Municipal Cemetery at 2:00pm.
