David Eugene Hamman May 10, 1940 - April 2, 2017

DAVID E. HAMMAN, was born on May 10, 1940 and on Sunday, April 2, 2017, went to be with his Lord and Savior. He was preceded in death by his wife of almost 35 years, June; wife of 10 years, Carol and parents Roy (Pete) and Dorothy Hamman. Shortly after graduating from Putnam City High School, he served in the U. S. Navy followed by several years of employment at Dayton Tire and Canadian Valley Technology Center. He was a friendly, outgoing, hard-working person. He is survived by a daughter, Cindy (Kevin), and two sons Jeff and Brad; 5 grandchildren; a brother; a sister; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 4, 2017 from 1-8 PM with the family receiving guests from 6-8 PM. Services to celebrate David's life will be at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, April 5, 2017 in the chapel of Buchanan Funeral Service. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memory Gardens.
