Deatron “Dee” Ilein Morgan, 84, passed away on September 30, 2020, in Oklahoma City, OK. She was born in Oklahoma City, on October 29, 1935 to Roy Leon Jones and Georgeilein (Adams) Jones. She was married to William Morgan Sr. for 52 years until his death on May 30, 2006. Dee worked as an Executive Secretary for Aero Commander, American Fidelity Assurance Companies, Lee Way Motor Freight, and finally, as Corporate Secretary/Controller of Morgan Aircraft Title Services Inc. until her retirement in 2006. She was a member of Chisholm Creek Baptist Church where she enjoyed the company of her Sunday School Class. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two of her brothers, Ron Jones and Pete Worrilow, and her daughter Susan Pope. She is survived by her brother, Pat Worrilow and his wife Bonnie; her two sisters-in-law, Paula Jones and Karen Worrilow; her son, William Morgan and his wife Tammie; her grandchildren, Matt Pope, Morgan Scott and her husband Wes, Trent Pope, Lauren Gunn and her husband Peter, and Nick Pope; and her great granddaughters, Marley Pope, Lillie Scott, Nora Scott, and Penny Gunn.
Mom, Grandma, Grandma Dee, Granny, Aunt Dee, friend and neighbor. Dee’s home was always open to those in need and she was always happy to be of help. She grew beautiful flowers in her backyard garden, enjoyed watching game shows on television, was a superb blackjack player, and was very proud of her family. She was our matriarch and will be greatly missed. The family would like to express our thanks to Quail Creek Assisted Living and Companion Hospice for their kindness and care.
A graveside service will be held for Dee at 2 PM on Friday, October 9, at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
