Doris N. Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, November 7, 2008 after a long battle with ALS. She was born in Minco, OK to Clarence and Viola Bowman August 13, 1937. She was a faithful member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her father and her husband Billy Martin in 2004. She is survived by her mother Viola Urban; 3 daughters, Jamie Carpenter, Shelly Owens and husband Vic; Wendy Young and husband Neil and their father Charles Wright; 2 step-sons Jody and Alicia Martin, and Pat and Alice Martin; 2 brothers, Jim Bowman and Joe Urban; 2 sisters, Ann Palmer and Cheryl Burkhart; 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. Services to celebrate her life will be at 1:00 PM Tuesday, Nov. 11 at the Bethany Church of Christ with burial to follow at Binger Cemetery.
