Dorothy Dolores Armstrong July 8, 1923 - February 27, 2017

Dorothy was born in Binger, OK to Myrtle Jane (Compton) and Robert Roy Hines. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Sherry Jo Lein Meek; brothers, J.B. Hines, Buford Hines; sisters, Juanita Blagg, Devieu Brown and a sister who passed at birth. Dorothy is survived by her boyfriend of 45 years Jim Henson; daughters Carole Kuykendall (Hershel), Jackie Hine (Jim); son, Rudy Lang (Annette); son-in-law, Ron Meek; step children, Mary Lou Doughty (Dean), Loretta McCoy, and Bill Armstrong; 19 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; sister-in-law; Laverne Hines; and many other family members and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 1, 2017 from 1-8 pm with family to greet visitors from 6-8 pm at Buchanan Funeral Service. Services to celebrate her life will be 10 am, Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Kelham Baptist Church, 3400 N. Meridian Ave., OKC with burial to follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.
