Ernest was born in OKC to Ella J. (Shive) and Otto L. Beam. He was a 35 year firefighter veteran. Ernest is preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 35 years Dorothy Beam and his 2nd wife Ladonna Beam who passed in 2012. Ernest is survived by his 3 sons, Ernest G. Beam, Jr., Larry R. Beam and wife Rachel, and Jackie L. Beam and wife Kathi. Graveside services to celebrate his life will be 11:00 am, Thursday, December 3, 2015 at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
