Evangeline Mobley Smith June 6, 1930 - October 19, 2016

Evangeline, "Vangie", was born in Webbers Falls, OK to Bertha (Butler) and Charles Meeks. She attended Chilocco Indian Agricultural School and graduated from Porum High School. She worked as a payroll clerk for the F.A.A. until her retirement in 1990. She is survived by her husband Don Smith, her son, Harold Underwood and wife Charlene; son Gary Underwood and wife Deyaune; daughter, Pamela and husband Barry Thurman; grandchildren, Quinton, Lance, Jessica, Tiffany, David, Chelsea; 10 great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends. Visitation will be Sunday, October 23, 2016 at Buchanan Funeral Service from 1-8 pm with the family receiving guest from 2-4 pm. Services to celebrate her life will be 2:00 pm, Monday, October 24, 2016 in the chapel of Buchanan Funeral Service with burial to follow at Bethany Cemetery.
