Glendon (Glen) Ray Campbell of Warr Acres, OK passed away on March 2nd, 2023. Glendon was born July 27th, 1943 in Elk City, OK to Mildred and Garland Campbell who preceded him in death. Glendon graduated from Elk City High School in 1961. He then attended Sayre Junior College from 1961-1963 and went on to attend Southwestern State from 1963-1965 earning a Bachelors of Science degree in business. Glendon served during the Vietnam War from 1966-1970 aboard the USS John W. Thomason DD-760 and earned the rank Signalman 3rd Class. After his service, Glendon worked for TG&Y in the store management department from 1971-1984. He then worked as a sales representative for Jack’s Service Company from 1984-2002 and another sales representative for DAS from 2002 until his retirement in August of 2009. Glendon married his loving wife Marilyn on March 16th, 1972. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family and those wonderful family vacations. They went to Disneyland, Disneyworld, and Sea World and then to relax at Red River, NM for trout fishing. After he retired he and Marilyn looked forward to their two trips a year to West Wendover, NV to have fun in the casinos. Glendon is survived by his wife Marilyn, the love of his life for 50 years; sons Michael D. Campbell, Derek Campbell and wife Lisa; grandchildren, Michael R. Campbell and wife Lacey, Parker Campbell, Greyson Campbell, Alexis East and husband Zack; brother, Dennis Campbell and wife Janie; niece, Erin and husband Ryan Richardson; nephew, Cory Campbell and wife Stevanna and many other family members and friends.

There will be a visitation for Glendon Campbell at 9am Monday, March 6th, 2023 at Buchanan Funeral Service with a graveside service at 11am Monday, March 6th, 2023 at Spring Creek Memorial Cemetery.
