Glenna Cochran July 21, 1927 - April 18, 2011

Glenna Bernice, 83, passed away on April 18, 2011 in OKC. She was born on July 21, 1927 in Omega, OK to Roy and Mabel Curry. Miss Cochran moved to OKC in 1945 where she met Buddy Cochran. They were married Nov. 10, 1945. In the 1950s they owned & operated Cochran's Drive Inn at the corner of NW 50th & Portland. Then she worked as secretary at the VA Hospital retiring in 1998. She was a long time member of New Hope Church and was youth leader for 13 years. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Buddy; & brother, James Curry. She is survived by her daughter Susan Music & husband Boyd; Grandchildren, Amy & husband Chris Davis, Melissa & husband Ellery Coffman, Angela & husband Joseph Jamis; great-grandchildren, Fox Davis & Van Jamis. Visitation will be Wed. April 20, 2011 from 9AM to 8PM. Services to celebrate her life will be Thursday, April 21, 2011 at 10:00 AM at New Hope Church with interment to follow at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery.
