Grace passed away peacefully on February 20, 2022. She was born to Jim S. Snodgrass & Lena White Snodgrass in Dimmitt, TX. As a small child her family moved to Oklahoma, ultimately settling near Ringling, OK area. Grace graduated from Rexroat High School then attended Central State in Edmond, OK obtaining a degree in Business Administration. Grace retired from the Enid Board of Education, serving as Secretary to the Superintendent of Schools before her retirement. Grace was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Tom Kirk; son, Randal Kirk; daughter, Brenda Kirk; sisters, Mildred Watkins, Evelyn Watkins; brothers, Wilburn (Bud) Watkins & Jimmy Dale Snodgrass; two great nephews, Derrick Snodgrass and Cody Dean Snodgrass. Grace is survived by numerous nieces & nephews, and many cousins, whom she loved dearly. Grace was an active member of Emmanuel Baptist Church until her health began to fail her (2016-2020). She then attended a small “Cowboy” church in Lahoma, OK, with her friends who would pick her up from home and take her. Grace loved quilting, needle point, crocheting & knitting. She enjoyed camping with her family during summer vacations and family reunions. Grace was one of the founders of a group called Compassionate Quilters, receiving grants to buy supplies to make quilts for those needing a little warmth. She moved to Healdton, OK, in 2020 in hope of reacquainting herself with former classmates & friends. Due to her continued failing health she chose to relocate to Baptist Village in Oklahoma City until her death.
