Tinnin,
Harley A., 82, passed away on April 7, 2010 in Norman, OK. He was born on October 16, 1927 in Morely, MO. to Charles and Nancy Tinnin.
He was a compassionate hard working man as a diesel mechanic at Tinker Air Force Base. Harley enjoyed helping people and was very active in his church. He loved playing the electric guitar and even played on the Grand Ole Opry television show in the 50s.
He is preceded in death by his parents, 5 sisters, and 5 brothers. Harley is survived by his wife Viola; sons, Harley Tinnin, Jr. and wife Ann Marie, Wayne Tinnin, Phillip Tinnin; daughters, Diana Tinnin, Barbara and husband Matt Layne; brothers, Frank Tinnin, Mel Tinnin, Hugh Tinnin; grandchildren, Bryan Tinnin and wife Chrissy, Patrick Adams and wife Jennifer, Matthew Layne, Tiffany and husband Mike McClellan, Douglas Layne, Krysle McKim, Diana Booth, Jamime, Tinnin, Lauren Tinnin; great-grandchildren, Haley, Kylie, Ashton, Gavin, Hunter, Jayden, Rachel, Jaxon, Diesel, Samuel; and many other relatives and friends.
Service will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at the funeral home chapel with entombment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
