Isaiah Kyndrick Grimes, 24 of Oklahoma City, passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2022.
A Memorial service will be held in his honor August 19, 2022, at 2:00 pm at Buchanan Funeral Service
Isaiah was born in Oklahoma City, Ok on August 23, 1997, to Kendra Grimes. He grew up in Oklahoma City and attended Sequoyah Elementary School from Kindergarten through third grade. He was then homeschooled until the 8th grade. He returned to public school to start his freshman year at PCO. He went to Northwest Classen his sophomore year and ran Cross Country on the boy’s track and field team. He returned to PCO his junior year where he also graduated in 2015. He attended college at UCO for two years and then decided to pursue a career in the restaurant business which he excelled in. He later decided to become a car salesman and his passion for cars took off. He began his career at Battison Honda and later Bob Moore Subaru. He started at Cable Volkswagen earlier this year. He achieved many sales awards including top car salesperson for 10 consecutive months. In his downtime Isaiah enjoyed playing basketball, working out in the gym, and playing PlayStation with his cousin Dereque. He was a huge Patriots and Lakers fan. Isaiah loved his family and his friends.
Isaiah was preceded in death by his grandfather Ralph Grimes and his Aunt Felicia Satchell.
Isaiah is survived by his mother, Kendra Grimes of Oklahoma City, grandmother, Denise Swenke of Oklahoma City, sister, Alicia Roberts of Oklahoma City, aunt, Nikki Brown of Midwest City, uncles, Harold Grimes (Shonda) of Quinlan, Tx, Quincy Grimes (Robin) of Oklahoma City, cousins, Nachelle Brown of Lawton, Ok, Jasmyn Brown of Oklahoma City, Dereque Brown of Oklahoma City, Christopher Grimes of Dallas, Tx and Victoria Grimes of Dallas, Tx. He is also survived by a host of great aunts and second cousins.
