Jack H., age 74 of OKC died Monday, September 29, 2008. He was born September 24, 1934 in Delta, Ohio to John F. and Hazel (Porter) Scherf. He was married to Jimmie L. Gower. Jack was an engineer and retired from the Oil Industry. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Gerald and a grandchild, Corbin Scherf. He is survived by his wife, Jimmie; 3 sons, Michael J. & wife Sheryl, Jack Douglas & wife Sherri, Anthony Allen & wife Karen; a daughter, Kelly Rene and husband Darryl Fraley; 11 grandchildren; a sister, Lois Wallace; a brother Glen Scherf; his mother-in-law Louise Gower and numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Services will be 11:00 AM, Friday, October 3rd at Buchanan Funeral Service Chapel with interment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
