James “Jim” Earl Garrett passed away on November 28, 2021. He was born on September 28, 1946 to True and Wilma Smith in Oklahoma City. He was preceded in death by his parents. Jim is survived by his wife, Mary Garrett; children, Jimmy Garrett, Jr., Sherry Record, Natalie Gray, Ginny Murdock, Schelley Newsom and Lori Pettit; 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Services to celebrate Jim’s life will be at 10 AM on Friday, Dec. 3rd, at Buchanan Funeral Service.
