Jason Michael Smith passed away on January 19, 2022. He was born on April 10, 1980 to Sandra Smith in East Meadow, New York.
Jason had a true passion for helping others. He graduated from UCO with a degree in education. At the time of his death he was teaching English & Literature at Western Heights High School, and prior to that he worked in social work assisting children within the Western Heights and local community.
Jason met his wife at a local skating rink 22 years ago. Jason absolutely loved being a father! He shared his passion for life with his children.
Jason enjoyed riding his motorcycle, talking with strangers, reading anything, and was an avid Pop collector.
Jason is preceded in death by his mother, Sandra. He is survived by his wife, Desiree; son, Brody and daughter, Bryanna.
