Waters, Dolores Jean, 82, died December 8, 2023.
Graveside services at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 13 at Binger Cemetery, Binger, OK (Buchanan, Oklahoma City).

Jean was born in Swain Lake, OK to Price and Lorene (Kuhn) Willis. She and her two sisters grew up on their family farm outside of Binger, OK. Jean moved to Oklahoma City after graduating high school and soon afterwards married her husband of 55 years, Ron Waters, in September, 1960. She was a devoted mother, raising two boys, Randy and Kevin, and was an ardent supporter of their education and sports activities. She worked as an administrative assistant at OG&E for three decades.

Jean loved traveling. While raising a family, most of her travels were drivable family vacations in the U.S. southwest. After the boys left home for college, she and her husband traveled extensively across the U.S. and internationally, touring countries across North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia. She wanted to see every site of every country. There was nowhere she did not want to visit. Jean continued to travel after losing her husband in 2016 until she was no longer physically able. Her love for seeing the world was infectious and she enjoyed telling stories about her trips to anyone who would listen.

Jean was also involved with her Methodist church for many years. She loved her ritual Friday afternoon lunches with her sister-in-law Judy Gunter and her son Kevin.

Jean is survived by her two sons, Randy Waters and his wife Michelle, and Kevin Waters; grandchildren Christopher Waters and his wife Sandra, Houston Waters, Danielle Waters, Meagan and her husband Nick Shaver, and Samantha Waters; 6 greatgrandchildren Maddi, Hailey, Lilly, Noah, Evelyn, and Emma; two sisters Anita Godfrey and Linda McPherson; nephews Terry Godfrey and Cade Gunter and wife Tarean; nieces Tammy McPherson, and Kristin and husband Tim Haber; and her dear life-long friend and sister-in-law Judy Gunter.

Services to celebrate her life will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at Binger Cemetery, Binger, OK.
