Jean Hill August 19, 1926 - August 14, 2018

Jean Hill went to be with the Lord on August 14, 2018, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  Jean was born August 19, 1926, in Rocky, Oklahoma to R.D. and Mattie King. She graduated from Cordell High School.  She married R. L. Long on May 5, 1945. They were married 36 years before his death in December 1981. They had three children John D., Linda Kay, and Kathy Jean.  On October 15, 1987 she married Warren Hill of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. They were married for 12 years before his death in January 2000.

Jean was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  She loved spending time with her family and friends. Her love for them was unconditional.  Jean spent most of her life as a homemaker cooking awesome meals for her family and friends, and after school treats for her children.  She devoted her time to her children and they grew up knowing how much they were loved. She raised her children in a Christian home and gave them more love than most people could dream of.

Jean was a devoted Christian throughout her entire life.  She was an active member of the Northwest Church of Christ in Oklahoma City since 1987.  She continued her devotion to the Lord and her church from her assisted living facility in Yukon, Oklahoma prior to her death.

Jean will be greatly missed by all who knew her.  She was easy to love and befriended everyone she met with her sweet smile, demeanor, and her welcoming and loving personality.  She was precious.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents R.D. and Mattie King, a daughter Kathy Jean Long, her husband R. L. Long and husband Warren Hill, brothers R. D. King, Jr. and Sherman King, nieces Rita King Williams and Carolyn King, and a nephew Wayne King.

Jean is survived by one daughter, Linda K. Long of Oklahoma City, one son, John D. Long and his wife Diane of Van Buren, Arkansas, one grandson, Phillip Cody Long and his wife Lori of Rogers, Arkansas, one granddaughter, Michelle Renee Long, of Van Buren, Arkansas, three great-granddaughters, Haeleigh Nicole Long, Caroline Renee Long, and Katelyn Marie Long, all of Rogers, Arkansas, one cousin, Billie Hurst of Altus, Oklahoma, and numerous nieces and nephews and “many” special friends she considered family.
