Jean Miriam Cowan January 3, 1935 - January 27, 2023

Jean M. Cowan was embraced by her Heavenly Father and reunited with her husband Henry Cowan on January 27, 2023. Jean will be greatly missed by all who knew her and while she had many titles throughout her life we most affectionately prefer her titles as mom, grandma and nanny. Jean never knew a stranger. She was greatly talented in the kitchen from her canned salsas to her exceptional homemade rolls. She was fiercely skilled in her sewing abilities and could make any person or item shine! Jean and husband Henry Cowan were married for 56 blissful years before his passing! They had 3 children Becky Hahn, Michael and wife Cecilia Cowan and Renee Scott. Then were blessed with 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Jean was one of four siblings and is survived by brother Roy Sellon. Friday, February 3rd Viewing will be held from 12:00 – 2:00pm at Highland Hills Baptist Church and graveside service to immediately follow at Resurrection cemetery.
