Jennifer Lyn Shaw February 20, 1973 - March 22, 2023

Jennifer Lynn Shaw, a registered nurse and lifelong resident of Oklahoma City, died unexpectedly on March 22, 2023 at the age of 50. Jennifer was born February 20, 1973 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Steven and Camellia Potts. Jennifer graduated from Putnam City Original in 1991 and Southern Nazarene University in 1996 before embarking upon her career as a registered nurse. Jennifer enjoyed working most as a hospice nurse. She married the love of her life Derrick Shaw on June 19, 1999. They both went on to have twins Dillon and Jordan in August of 2002. They lived in Oklahoma City where they shared their love for their animals and motorcycles with many friends and family. Jennifer especially enjoyed rescuing animals that were in need of a home or help. She was always there for them or whoever needed her. She is preceded in death by her father, Steven Potts; and mother Camellia Potts. Jennifer is survived by her husband, Derrick Shaw; son, Dillon Shaw; and daughter, Jordan Shaw and many family members.
