Jesse L. Clemmons October 18, 1929 - December 17, 2021

Jesse L. Clemmons, 92, died December 17, 2021. He was born on October 18, 1929 in Minco, Oklahoma to Brady and Laura (Braiser) Clemmons. He was 1 of 8 children. He married Joy (Williams) Clemmons on April 2, 1950 in Chickasha, Oklahoma. Together they raised 3 children; Connie (Clemmons) Fairchilds, Steven Clemmons and Timothy Clemmons. Jesse was a member of the South Yukon Church of Christ and for a short time, Soldier Creek Church of Christ. He loved to ride horses, sing and play the guitar, and work in the yard and vegetable garden. He was seen on many occasions standing outside with his beloved water hose, even in the rain. He was an excellent tile contractor for many years until his knees wore out, and he retired. He loved spending time with his children, 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Jesse was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and 5 sisters. Jesse will be greatly missed. Visitation will be from 1 PM – 8 PM on Monday, Dec. 20^th, at Buchanan Funeral Service. The funeral will be at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, Dec. 21^st, at South Yukon Church of Christ with burial to follow at Friendship Cemetery in Minco, OK.
