Joe Lyndon Foster passed away peacefully on March 16th, 2023. He was born on December 31, 1942, to Clyde Vernon and Ruby Foster in Altus, Oklahoma. Joe graduated from Plainview High School in Texas. Joe continued his education at Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree. Joe served as a Captain in the United States Army before enjoying an active career for Chesebrough-Ponds and Morton Salt Industrial Division where he was named the top sales person on multiple occasions.

Those left to cherish unforgettable memories of Joe are his loving wife Patricia Foster and her children Terri and Steve Moellers, Brett and Alma Robertson and Amy and James Yates. He leaves behind 9 beloved grandchildren Kenneth Robertson, Emily Moellers, Paul Moellers, Sherri Esclamado, Kara Robertson, Tommy Robertson, Blaine Riggs, Makenna Robinson, Justice Yates and great grandchildren Brantley Roberson and Rynlee Robinson. Joe’s siblings Clyde Foster and Leona Nicholson; nieces and nephews Jeff Foster, Cheryl Ryan, Mike Foster (deceased), Sharon Till, and Dale Nicholson.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a commensurate donation to PCBD Falls Creek scholarship fund, Putnam City Baptist Church, 11404 N. Rockwell, Oklahoma City, OK 73162. Visitation will be held from 1:00pm-8:00pm, Thursday March 23, 2023, at Buchanan Funeral Service. Funeral Services will be at 10:30, Friday March 24, 2023 at Putnam City Baptist Church. Interment to follow at Spring Creek Memorial Cemetery.
