Joe Tom Linahan March 10, 1933 - October 12, 2016

Joe of Piedmont, OK passed peacefully from this life early Tuesday morning, October 12, 2016.

Joe was born in Dubach, LA, March 10, 1933. Joe served his country proudly in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War from 1951-53. He worked as a pipeline welder and welding inspector for well over 50 years. Joe was wed to Patricia Ann Donohue January 12, 1961 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church of Cedar Rapids, IA. After Joe married, he continued traveling with his wife and daughter throughout the United States working on numerous pipelines, including the Alaska Pipeline from 1975-76.

Survivors include daughter, Catherine Kohn and husband Ray of Piedmont; two grandchildren, Anthony Kohn and Acacia Lee, husband Jeff and two great-grandchildren, Eli and Kali. Joe is further survived by sister, Patricia Daker, of Arizona and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held 1-8 pm, Monday, October 17, 2016 at Buchanan Funeral Service, 8712 N. Council Road, OKC, and a Memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm, Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at Norman Veterans Center, 1776 E. Robinson, Norman with Fr. Patrick Caveglia, O.S.B. officiating. Private burial will be at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery, 7801 NW Expressway, OKC.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial donations to the OK Alzheimer's Association.
