Karen Ann Boyd May 4, 1943 - September 10, 2022

Karen Ann Boyd went home to be with our Heavenly Father and her beloved husband on September 10, 2022.  Karen was born May 4, 1943 in Watonga, OK to Rubin Roe Collins and Ruth Nadine (Click) Collins (Kiefer).  Karen was preceded in death by her parents, her wonderful bonus dad Odis (Jack) Kiefer, and the love of her life (Forest). Karen is survived by her two daughters Terese (Akers) Cozad, Shauna (Shores) Coppock, two bonus sons Bob Boyd wife Deana Jo, & Forest Boyd, Jr. Grandchildren Shelby Renfro, Samantha Coppock, Monica Krause husband Shelby, Dustin Boyd wife Megan, Brock Boyd wife Miriam, and Lt. Chad Boyd wife Jessica, numerous Great Grand children, her sister Beverly Botts and husband Jim, nieces and nephews. Her bonus daughter Amber Childers and her daughter Brinkley. Her best friends Mary Graham, Jeannee Thomas, and Irene Hobbs.  Last but not least her very much loved fur babies Sophie and Sasha. Karen enjoyed reading her bible, listening to Christian music, and spending time with her family.  She enjoyed watching her most recent great grand baby Fynlee grow, it made her heart happy to have her come over and watch her laugh and giggle.  Karen was a stubborn and sometimes needy, ok most the times needy woman but that is what made her Karen and more importantly MOM!  Her laughter is something that will be missed so much! Karen will be missed by many, she was a loving wife, loving mom, and a much loving mamaw.

There will be a viewing from 1-8 on Wednesday September 14th with family being present from 5-8.  At 10:00 am on September 15th there will be a “She Made It Home” service held at Buchanan Funeral Service with a graveside following at Bethany Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to Pets and People Humane Society, this is where Karen obtained her fur babies and the society was near and dear to her heart. Please click here to donate.
