Kathy Logan January 18, 1954 - May 22, 2021

Kathy Logan, 67, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2021 in Oklahoma City with her family by her side. Kathy was born January 18, 1954 in St Louis, Missouri to Gladys and John Curran. She was married to Grady Logan for 44 years and has two daughters; every day with Kathy was a blessing. She is a graduate of the University of St Thomas, where she studied Elementary Education. She taught school for several years before retiring to become a full-time mom, but she continued to find opportunities to teach through her church and in her community for her entire life. Her strong faith called her to be an active member of the church community through religious education, Worldwide Marriage Encounter, and the Sewing Buddies quilting group. Kathy loved making quilts for family and friends, and she freely shared from her legendary fabric stash. She was an avid crafter, cake maker, and gardener, and she inspired a love of crafting in her daughters. They have fond memories of the many craft projects they did together, from handmade Christmas ornaments to hair scrunchies. She was a wonderful mother who devoted her time to raising her daughters, encouraging them to bloom into caring, independent young women just like her. She made a friend of all she met and had ample room in her heart to welcome strangers and act as a mom to anyone who needed her loving care. Kathy loved music, played the guitar, wrote beautiful songs, and sang in the choir.

Kathy is survived by her husband Grady Logan, daughters Rebekah Logan and Margaret Harris, Rebekah’s fiance Justin Johnson, Margaret’s husband Brad Harris, her sister Donna Verzella, and brothers Jerry Curran and Wayne Curran. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Michael Curran.

Please consider donating to the Willie Pregnancy and Arch Diocese in honor of Kathy
