Larry Wayne Triplett, 79 years, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away on May 30, 2024. He was born April 19, 1945 in Enid, Oklahoma to Coalbert and Mary Anne Triplett

Larry Wayne Triplett was the owner and operator of Mason Pipe & Supply. He was known for his hard work ethic, generous heart and his captivating smile.  He was an avid golfer with many tournament wins under his belt. He was a faithful steward in the church and set that standard for his family.

He attended Woodward High School where he was the captain of the football team as well as homecoming king. He graduated in 1963 and went on to play football in college for a short time. He graduated from Southwestern Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration in 1968. He dedicated his life to working hard, providing for his family, and giving back to his church.

Larry Wayne Triplett married Patricia Kay Proctor on August 22, 1965 and they spent 58 wonderful years together. He is survived by his loving wife Patricia K. Triplett, Jennifer Paige Quickel and Joshua Cole Quickel, Stacy Shannell Davis and Casey Lee Davis, Avery Shane Quickel, Jillyan Paige Moon, Ainsley Cole Quickel, Molly Marie Moon, Mark Triplett, and David Triplett. He was preceded in death by Coalbert Franklin Triplett, Mary Anne Triplett, and Albert Merle Triplett.

Larry had a small hunting cabin tucked back in the mountains in colorful Colorado. In the early 2000’s he renovated this small hunting cabin into a large family cabin where he spent time riding the 4 wheelers through the trails in the Rio Grande National Forest with his wife, children and beloved grandchildren. If you were to ask him if he wanted to take a trip somewhere, he would say “Colorado”.

Larry Wayne Triplett will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Memorial Services will be conducted on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at 2:00pm at Buchanan Funeral Service, 8712 N Council Rd. Oklahoma City, OK 73132.

    I am so sorry to hear about Larry. I have known him for about 70 years. I have fond memories of our visits when we were both young. He always had a smile on his face and a kind word for everyone. God be with the family.
