It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Lawana Kay Weeks on January 20, 2024 Edmond, Oklahoma . Lawana Kay Weeks was born on July 22,1945 in Ardmore, Oklahoma and was a friend to all she met. She was employed by Western Electric for 30 years before her retirement.
She is survived by her son, Thomas A. Weeks, sister, Sue Averitte, Grandchildren; Karissa Busse and husband David, Thomas J. Weeks and wife Cheryl, Elijah Busse, Emma Busse, Payton, Berkley, and Jaxon Weeks . She was preceded in death by her loving husband Thomas H. Weeks, Parents Johnnie and Vera Kirk, and brother Gary Kirk .
There will be a visitation held on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at Buchanan Funeral Service. Funeral Services will be held the following day, January 26, 2024 at 11AM at Buchanan Funeral Service with Interment at Memorial Park Cemetery.
