My thoughts are with Lisa’s family. Hoping the joy of memories will outweigh your sorrow in the days to follow. When I saw Lisa it was usually at a grandchild’s birthday party or other family event. She was always delightful to talk with and talking about the grandchildren was always at the top of her list. I first met Lisa when Cody and Regina were in high school. I was struck by her beauty and infectious laugh. I was awed that such a petite woman could have given birth to such a big boy! As our children became a family she was so proud of all that Cody and Regina had accomplished, especially the grandchildren, as grandma’s will do. I could see in her eyes the excitement she had for her future generation. Over the last few years I hadn’t seen Lisa as often at family gatherings and I missed her, she was someone I could really talk grandchildren with!! Words don’t fit all the emotions. So much can be lost after a time like this, stay connected with each other, it keeps your mom’s memory in a special place. May peace be with her and each of you. Much love to you all.
