Lloyd Schardein December 23, 1927 - October 13, 2010

Lloyd Dale, age 82 of Edmond, went to be with his Heavenly Father on October 13, 2010. He was born December 23, 1927 in Blackwell, OK to Edward Leroy and Isabelle Violet (Arthur) Schardein. He proudly served his Country during WWII in the US Navy. Lloyd was a measurement supervisor for Colorado International Gas (CIG) for 40 years retiring in 1991. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. Lloyd served as an elder in the Church of Christ in Beaver, Pueblo and Bella Vista. He and wife Charlotte enjoyed living in Amarillo, TX; Beaver, OK; Pueblo, Co; and Belle Vista, AR until moving to the OKC area to be near their children. Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Dwight. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte of the home; son, Max Schardein and wife Debra of Amarillo, TX; daughter, Vicki Kokotan and husband Ron of Yukon, OK; daughter, Becky Swann of OKC; and son, Rex Schardein and wife Linda of Ft. Worth, TX; 8 grandchildren: Mac, Heather, Misty, Amanda, Madelyn, Ben, Heather and Melissa; 10 great-grandchildren, Ruby, Ethan, Ava, Drake, Luke, Stella, Gracie, Logan, Parker and Bailey; a half brother, Butch Schardein and other family and friends. Family will receive visitors Friday from 5:00-7:00 pm at the Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, October 16th at Blackwell Cemetery, Blackwell, OK.
