Lois E. "Patti" passed from this earth on Tuesday, September 14 at Mercy Medical Center. She was born July 23, 1930 in a small southwestern Minnesota town of Pipestone. She moved to OKC in the early 1950's and in 1959, married Robert E. "Bob" Lambert with whom she shared her life as they raised their family. Patti was an accomplished accountant and homemaker and devoted her life to family, friends, and the Church. Her spirit and determination were clear to those who knew her, and she was known for her independence and her unshakeable devotion to her husband, sons, and lifelong friends. Her strength and courage were well known to those who knew her, especially through the challenges she faced in her life, most notably as a cancer survivor. Patti was a longtime member of Geologists Wives in OKC and enjoyed giving of herself to others through the Stephen Ministry at her church and volunteer work through organizations like The Infant Crisis Center. Her devotion to Christ was lifelong and guided her through the joys and sorrows of life. The legacy she has left to those who knew and loved her is one of humble courage, strength, and joy; her passing has left a void in our hearts.
Patti Lambert is preceded in passing by her husband, and is survived by 2 sons, Clay and Chris; 2 granddaughters, Holly and Kay; 2 brothers, Bill and Gene; and numerous nieces and nephews. She leaves behind a large and diverse group of wonderful friends that meant the world to her. Patti's legacy to this world is one of love and happiness through her family, friends, and deeds; she is sorely missed.
Visitation will be at the Funeral Home on Friday, September 17 with the family receiving visitors from 4 – 6 PM. Services will be on Saturday, September 18 at 10 AM at New Covenant Christian Church, 12000 N. Rockwell Ave. with interment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Cemetery.
