“Peace begins with a smile”
Our beautiful daughter Lorra passed away peacefully as she slept at home on Thursday morning December 15th, 2022. She was born to Scott and Janet Ohmann on a sunny Saturday afternoon in Oklahoma City in April of 1989. Lorra was eager to begin her life journey coming 3 months early and weighing just 2 lbs 4 ozs. We just knew we had a fighter from the beginning as she grew into a strong, healthy, and loving young girl. Lorra had the brightest smile along with the most beautiful blue eyes much like her Grandma Lorraine who she now gets to meet for the first time in heaven. Her heart was full of compassion and love for everyone she met. She made many lasting friendships throughout her short 33 years of life. She was an avid reader from the beginning and loved most anything that was creative, especially music. A graduate of Putnam City High School in 2007, Lorra enjoyed her time in marching and concert band becoming a lead saxophonist. Her love of music extended from Sinatra to Zeppelin to Eilish, spending many times with her parents, friends and relatives sharing songs with everyone attempting perfect harmony. Lorra suffered from social anxiety for much of her life. This created a passion for her to understand the complexity of the brain. She studied psychology and neurology at UCO and OSU-OKC and read every book and article available on the subject. With this, Lorra offered herself to listen to others and counsel them with their life issues helping many along her way to peace. Beautiful girl, just like you always said to us, we love you too!
Love forever! Mom & Dad.
Lorra was preceeded in her passing by her grandparents Alden and Lorraine Ohmann and Laveta Story, her Uncle Jeff, Aunts Debbie and Gail, cousin Joshua and her precious chihuahua Patches. She is survived by her parents, her Aunt and Uncle Dr. Gregg and Andrea Ohmann, cousins Eric, Kyle and Mitchell Ohmann, Dr. Luke Cain, Charlene Kamp, Myayn Pierce, Megan Weaver, and their precious families.
