Louise Gower August 18, 1909 - June 5, 2011

Louise F. "Mamaw" Gower, 101, was born to Wiley and Lucy (Dale) Pennington in Castle, OK. Mamaw was a long time member of the Church of Christ and was a commercial seamstress for Master Cleaners which was a family owned business. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jim; son, Mel Gower; brother, Willie Pennington; granddaughter, April Gower and a great-grandson, Corbin Scherf. She is survived by daughters, Jimmie Scherf and Diane Corey; sons, Roger Gower and wife Phyllis, and David Schrock; daughter-in-law, Dee Gower; 2 half sisters, May and Retha; 19 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren. Services to celebrate her life will be 10:30 AM, Thursday, June 9th at North MacArthur Church of Christ with burial to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
