Madeline J. Wolfla passed away peacefully on October 25, 2023. She was born March 29, 1941 to Edward and Jane Canfield in Chicago Illinois. Madeline is survived by her son Christopher Wolfla, daughter Susan Wolfla and grandchildren Andrew and Julie Wolfla. A memorial mass will be at 10:30 AM on Saturday November 4, 2023 at Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Church, 7336 W Britton Rd. Oklahoma City, OK 73132.
Madeline was a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy. She attended Saint Xavier College where she received a Bachelor of Science. After college Midge became a Registered Nurse. She attended Indiana University and received a Masters degree in nursing diagnosis. During her career as a Nurse Midge worked for St. Vincents Hospital in Indianapolis and Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City.
In her free time Madeline volunteered with the Girls Scouts. As a life time member of the Girl Scouts, she was a troop leader, council president and consultant. Midge was a volunteer at Epiphany of Our Lord Catholic Church and served the church including the St. Stephen ministry, the Sewing Buddies, and the Annual Auction.
Midge loved spending time with her friends and family, the outdoors, and reading a good book.
