Madonna Preiss Morley, a thirty-five year resident of Oklahoma City, passed away on November 18, 2016. She was born October 5, 1936, in St. Louis, Missouri, where her family operated a dance studio. It was at that studio where at the age of four, she danced for the first time with her husband of fifty-eight years, James Raymond Morley.
Donna graduated from Visitation Academy and then Fontbonne College with a Degree in Dietetics. She worked only briefly for the Dairy Council before having children and working as part owner of their new family business, Bozzay-Morley Florist, now Bozzay Florist, in St. Louis, Missouri for twenty-three years.
A devoted Mother, she was the original "Super Mom". In the sixties and seventies she worked in the family business, kept a perfect household, made sure that a balanced meal was on the table every night, precisely at 5:30 p.m. and that her boys had the whitest football pants on the team.
In 1981 Jim and Donna sold their share of the business and moved to Oklahoma City to work for American Floral Services. Donna was never a full time employee of American Floral Services but traveled this country and the world, helping to represent the company and their industry, through publishing and educational programs for the retail Florist.
She is survived by her husband James Raymond Morley, her sons; Christopher Morley and Shawn Morley, all of Oklahoma City; three grandchildren, James Morley, Kelly Boothe and Jacob Morley.
Committed to her faith, Donna has always been active in her church cooking for funerals and participating in the Eucharistic Ministry. Friends, neighbors and business associates will miss her thoughtful cards but mostly, a special pie, cobbler or Christmas cookies.
A funeral mass for Donna will be held, 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 26th at Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Church, 7336 W. Britton Road, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 73132
