Marcia Anne Dean passed away on January 30th, 2025 at the age of 99. She was born on May 16th, 1925 near Severy, Kansas to Horace and Edith Simons Copeland. Her legacy also includes seven grandchildren, Jeanne Lucas (Mark), Jennifer Erickson (Mike), Gretchen Stafford, Kristin Williams, Michael Fincham (Rebecca), Nate Nicoll, and Kimberly Kavanagh (Sean) and seven great grandchildren Matthew and Jacob Lucas, Allie and Katie Stafford, Lauren and Audrey Erickson, and Finn Kavanagh.

She is known by the family for telling the best bedtime stories, especially of her days on the farm, and for her kind but unfailingly honest opinions, which have carried on through the generations. Her family was everything to her and she will be missed by all.

A family memorial service will be held at held in May.
