Margaret Ann (“Maggie”) Snook passed away after a lengthy illness on 2/27/21. Maggie was born in Tyler, TX, on 3/12/1947, and moved to Oklahoma City in 1969. She married Michael Glenn Snook on 7/19/1975. Maggie spent most of her professional life in healthcare-related fields – first in the dean’s office at the OU Health Sciences Center before transitioning to a lengthy stint as a pharmaceutical sales representative. Always learning and growing, she returned to school later in life and ended her career providing direct patient care as an Occupational Therapist.
To say Maggie was gregarious and exuberant would only serve to understate the effect her approach to life had on those whom she encountered. Maggie generated joy and warmth to anyone she was around – be it at work, at home, church, or social settings. Her love will be felt by all that knew and loved her in a most profound and immeasurable way.
Maggie was preceded in death by her mother, Jewel V. Westerman, and brothers, Richard and Newton K. Westerman. She is survived by her husband, Mike, her sister, Vivian Kackley, her son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Misty Smith, and two grandchildren, Sean and Nathan Smith.
Due to COVID precautions, Maggie’s service will be private. To view the livestream of Maggie’s service, please Click Here.
If you would like to pay your respects, the viewing on Thursday at Highland Hills Baptist Church will be public.
