Marilyn D’Ann (McRoberts) Heinley, age 80, passed away on January 29, 2021. She was born in San Antonio, TX, September 7, 1940 to George and Ila McRoberts, who preceded her in death as well as her sisters, Karen Curd and Georganne Spain. D’Ann married the love of her life, Donald Heinley, on July 10, 1976. Their marriage thrived until his death in 1999. Don worked for the FAA, which moved them to several states before they retired and moved back to the place they called home, Oklahoma City. D’Ann was a talented hairdresser for many years, but her passion was their successful antique business. She was fiercely independent with great style, a great sense of humor and deep love of her family. She is survived by her son; Richard Cox of Cocoa, FL; niece Tiffany Crosier and husband Brad of Edmond, OK; nephew Kevin Curd and wife Stephanie of Piedmont, OK; stepson David Heinley and wife Shelley of Edmonton, Canada; stepson Steven Heinley and wife Renee of Lakewood, CO; Diane Vinson and Keith Heinley of Oklahoma. Her grandchildren include Richard “RJ” Cox of L.A., CA; Jamie Cox of Melbourne, FL; Tara Mitchell and husband Robbie of Tulsa, OK; Michael Heinley and wife Paola of Amsterdam, Netherlands; Megan Romagna and husband Tony of Wheat Ridge, CO.
Great grandchildren include Trei, Tyson and Chelsea Cox, Destiny Hampton, Mia, Micah and MacLynn Mitchell, Isaac and Aaron Heinley and Sage Romagna. Great nieces include Avery and Emerson Curd. Great nephews include Cole, Bode and Cub Crosier.
Services to celebrate D’Ann’s life will be 10:00 am, Friday February 5, 2021 in the chapel of Buchanan Funeral Service.
