Michael Shane “Mike” Foster died December 9, 2018, with his wife, children, priest, and friends at his side. He was born in Vinita, Oklahoma, September 30, 1968, to Danny Eugene Foster and Judith Ralyn “Judy” (Sturm) Foster. He attended Ochelata Caney Valley School and Big Cabin High School, and graduated from St. Gregory’s College and Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee. He finished all his work except a thesis for a master’s degree in science in environmental microbiology at the University of Central Oklahoma. After his father’s death in 2008, Mike gave up his career to help run the family business in Ochelata.
