Mona was united with her Lord & Savior Tuesday, April 2, 2019. She was born in Detroit, MI to Judd and Irene (Chester) Wood. Mona was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jim and daughter Cindy. She is survived by her son, Nick Hayes (Lisa), daughter, Jamie Bishop, step-daughter, Mary Jane Sauls-Beavers; 6 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. Mona was a long time member of First Baptist of Norman where she taught Sunday School for 25 years. Services to celebrate her life will be at 2:00 PM, Monday, April 8, 2019 in the chapel of Resthaven Funeral home with burial to follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens.
