Odis "Jack" A., Jr. age 88 of OKC, formerly of Crescent, OK, died February 13, 2012. He was born July 19, 1923 in Glendale, Ok to Odis A. and Lillie Gertrude "Cautheren" Kiefer. Jack proudly served his country in WWII and the Korean War as a Military Policeman and loved his country and saluted every flag flying. He said it was "The Best Country in the World". He retired from Tinker AFB as a parts locator and then retired from Warehouse Distributors. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Ruth. Jack is survived by 2 daughters: Karen Boyd and husband Forest, whom he considered a son, Beverly Botts and husband Jim; 5 grandchildren, Deborah Chauncey and husband Gordon, Terese Cozad, Shauna Coppock and husband Shawn, Forest Boyd Jr., and Bobby Boyd and wife Deanna and a multitude of great and great-great grandchildren and his best friend Don Loganbill. The family would like to thank Dr. Mark Lynn, nurses Gracie and Winn and all the Drs and Nurses at Deaconess for the care and kindness that he received. "Dad will be missed by all who knew and loved him." Visitation will be Friday, February 17th from 8:30 AM-8:30 PM with a graveside service to celebrate his life 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 18 at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery.
