Pauline Stewart August 10, 1921 - July 4, 2009

Polly (Pauline), age 87 of Edmond, OK went home to be with her Lord on July 4th, 2009. She was born August 10, 1921 in Shamrock, OK, one of 6 siblings, to John and Ida (Tucker) Copher. As a young adult, Polly was a legal secretary, then worked with her husband, Ivan, for 64 years, serving God as an ideal preacher?s wife, arranging Campaigns for Christ all over the world, and writing books. Polly loved to sew, quilt and teach Bible classes. She was a shining light for Jesus in everything she did. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sharon, daughter-in-law, Jane, her parents, 2 brothers, a sister . She is survived by her devoted husband, Ivan; son, Mike Stewart of Austin, TX; a daughter, Rebecca Feldman of OKC; brother, Carl Copher; sister Joyce Woods, both of CA; 4 grandchildren, Julia Stewart of NYC, Sara Stevens & husband James of Austin, TX, Jessie Feldman of LA, CA, and Aaron Feldman of Ann Arbor, MI; 1 great granddaughter, Scarlett Stevens; and a host of nieces, nephews and many many friends. Polly will be missed by everyone that knew her however we know that the Angels are rejoicing in Heaven. Services to celebrate Polly?s life will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, July 9th at North MacArthur Church of Christ with burial at Memorial Park Cemetery.
