Priscilla J Spence, age 87 was born in Carthage, MO on August 22, 1935 to Gordon S. and Mildred (Jennings) Lott. She passed peacefully from this life into the arms of her Savior on April 25, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Lyle Spence. She is survived by her son, Don Singleton and his wife Anne; daughter, Sue and husband Joe Hinson; daughter, Kathy and her husband Billy Davison. Grandchildren, Brittany and her husband Joe Tolman, Ryan Hinson and his wife Tiffany, Grace Singleton and Alex Brown, Isabelle and Jackson Davison, Chara-lette Densmore and her children Blayden, Ma’kya and Waylon and Brettana and her husband Holden Pollard; two great-grandchildren, Peyton and Presley Hinson.
Priscilla attended the University of Missouri and was a proud member of the Theta Chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma. She was the University of Missouri “Show Me Queen” of 1954. Priscilla had many talents – she was an accomplished seamstress, baker, artist, and hostess. She loved her family, and her greatest joy was celebrating their accomplishments and letting them shine.
Services to celebrate her life will be at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at the Church of the Savior, 5600 NW 63rd St. Oklahoma City. Please send donations in lieu of flowers to the church or to the American Cancer Society to further cancer research.
