Randall Keith Hunter was reunited with his beloved son, Brian Keith in the Kingdom of God on November 16, 2024. Randall was born to Al & Lita Hunter in OKC. He was preceded in death by his parents and son. Randall is survived by his cherished wife, Charlotte, proclaiming after more than 47 years, ‘I don’t know how I’d survive without you.’ He loved his family with all his heart including: granddaughter, Lola; daughter-in-law Sarah; brother Rick and his wife Carol; brother Mike and his wife Joy; sister Lisa and her husband Mike; nieces Jennifer, Hilary, Jessica and their families. Randall earned an associate degree from OSU-OKC and worked as an ACLS certified ER nurse for 9 years. He was on staff at churches in OKC and NM as pastor and minister of music. Randall embraced life. He liked to laugh; he was usually reading 3 history or science books at the same time; he enjoyed drawing, cross stitch; he was a published poet and he was an active amateur radio operator for 58 years. Around age 35, he discovered community theatre. Often he auditioned for a new play before his current play had ended. He commanded the stage making even a ‘small’ part ‘big’ when he got to the stage. He learned the craft well earning multiple awards from multiple theater groups. His dream role was playing Tevya in ‘Fiddler on the Roof’ (2009). His hard work was rewarded when he was honored as Best Actor that season. Our hearts will miss you greatly, but our lives are better because of you.
