Raymond was born in Goliad, TX to Jose and Leocadia Vela. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Emma Bela in 2015. Raymond is survived by his daughters, Diana Mullennax (Tim), Amanda Wilkerson (Blaine), Elisa Fayfitch (Steve); 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 1-8 pm on Thursday, April 19, 2018 with family to greet guests from 6-8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM Friday, April 20, 2018 at Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Church with burial to follow at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery.
