Richard was born in Quanah, Texas to Cliff and Gladys (McWhorter) Hargesheimer. He graduated from Quanah High School and West Texas State University. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Kelly and Jessica Hargesheimer; and two grandsons Ash and River Hargesheimer. Richard enjoyed playing golf. He was much loved and will be dearly missed. Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 12th at 10:00 a.m. at Buchanan Funeral Service Chapel with burial in Tuttle Cemetery.
