Ronald Lee Maguffee July 11, 1954 - July 14, 2015

Ronald Lee Maguffee was born on July 11, 1954 in Thayer, Missouri to Patsy "Pat" Lee (Collins) and Billy Jack Maguffee. He went to his heavenly home on July 14, 2015 making his stay on this earth 61 years and 3 days.

In his child hood years, Ronald attended Madison Elementary School and then Northwest Classen High School graduating in 1973. After his high school graduation, he had the desire to serve his country, so he joined the U.S. Air Force in 1974; however, due to numerous health issues, he did not get to serve his full tour of duty. After his return home, he attended OSU Tech where he studied electronics.

He met the love of his life Toni Borah in Oklahoma City and they were married on March 26, 1975. To this union was born two lovely and beautiful daughters, Julie and Stephanie.

He worked with his Brother Phil at Allied Protective Systems for several years. He loved taking apart electronic things and putting them back together. He also worked on cars.

Ronald always had a love for animals, especially German Sheppard dogs; he also loved his cat Kenny. He liked rock and roll music and playing his guitar.

But his greatest love was for his family, especially, his two daughters Julie and Stephanie. He loved to go jogging with them around Eldon Lyon Park. He liked to stay up late with them and watch the TV show Mash; he also liked watching the Science-Fiction Channel. Ronald was a funny guy and liked to play jokes on his girls and sometimes he would sing funny songs to them in the mornings to wake them up. One of their fondest memories of their dad was that he would always make them breakfast every morning before they went to school. Sometimes the girls would have slumber parties on Saturday nights, and on Sunday mornings, he would bring donuts to Julie's best friend Paula's house. He also would take them driving in his white 1976 Ford Maverick, but before leaving, he would always say, "Put your seat belt on".

Although Ronald had multiple healthy problems, he was a good hearted man and would lend a helping hand to those in need, for example, he would occasionally help Julie and Stephanie's friend's mom, Betty, with her house. Ronald loved the Lord Jesus Christ and when he could, he and his wife Toni attended Life Church in Oklahoma City.

Ronald was proceeded in death by his dad, Billy Jack and his brother Phil.

He is survived by his wife, Toni; two daughters, Julie and husband Ben Head, and Stephanie and husband Derek Meder; two grandchildren, Ethan & Landon Meder; his mother, Pat Maguffee; and one sister, Michelle and husband Ronnie Keith; and many other family members and friends.
