Ronnie Cunningham April 16, 1940 - May 2, 2010

CUNNINGHAM,
Ronnie Lee, age 70 of OKC, went to be with his Heavenly Father on May 2, 2010. Ronnie was born April 16, 1940 in Tuscola, IL to Sam and Bessie (Rice) Cunningham. He was the youngest of 8 boys and 5 girls. Ron was in prison for 28 years and after 14 years he started studying the Bible on his own and then found Rick Watson who was teaching a Bible class in prison. Ron became a Christian and spent the last 10 years of his life bringing others to Jesus as a Jail and Prison Minister working under the eldership of Cherokee Hills Church of Christ. He was very powerful and effective in spreading the gospel of Christ to thousands of people. Ron is survived by a brother, Ed Cunningham and wife Bettie of Ranch Cardova, CA; a brother, Leslie Cunningham of Bloomington, IL; a special niece, Candy Rhoden and numerous other nieces, nephews and loved ones. Ron will be missed by all that knew him. Services to celebrate his life will be 4:00 PM, Saturday, May 8th at Cherokee Hills Church of Christ.
